What is a District Leader?
A District Leader is someone who is passionate about their local community and wants to make a difference in their town(s). A typical District Leader will be well connected locally, involved on the business scene, either by running their own enterprise, or engaged with businesses in some capacity.
District Leaders have often demonstrated a ‘giving’ disposition by being involved in local community projects such as local sports clubs, charities, scouts or guides.
What does a District Leader do?
The District Leader role is to build a vibrant local Business Community. This is done by talking to business owners and those in the community and bringing them together to share ideas, expertise, knowledge and support. The District Leader grows the community with a variety of regular events where local businesses, charities, not for profit organisations and the public sector can get together. Events are held at different times of the day to cater for the diversity of organisations in the community.
