Link4More – Evening

A Community is when people with common interests all come together, support and encourage one another and work together to the benefit of all. The Link4Growth evening events have been created to provide a range of different experiences that everyone in the community can take part in, benefit from, and enjoy.

Community meets Business – 6:00pm – 8.30pm

These are lively and more social events to bring together everyone in the community. An ideal opportunity for all types of businesses to meet and make connections, but also a unique opportunity to mingle with other sections of the local community such as charities, education, sport and the public sector.

The evening will include

  • Mingling over buffet and refreshments
  • Speakers
  • Hot Topic debates
  • Link4Drinks

With two speaker sessions one is reserved to showcase a local community good cause such as a charity or ‘not for profit’ organisation and for them to explain some of the good they are doing in the community.

The second session is a 20 minute engaging talk. Subjects will range from motivational, business, political, social responsibility and a variety of others, and speakers will be from the private, business or public sector.

This is a great chance to meet different people in the community that you might not always get the opportunity to connect with.

Other evening formats soon to be available are

Connect & Go

This is the fast and furious fun night which speeds up the process of getting to meet other people in the community. This event is a real ice breaker with just 1 minute each to briefly connect and introduce yourself before you have to move on to the next connection.

This event overcomes the sometimes difficult task of saying hello, but once the ice is broken… it is easy to arrange to meet again at perhaps a coffee event,  where you can spend more time exploring how you might be able to help each other

QT Local

Have you ever been puzzled at some of the things that are going on in your local area? Wondered how anyone could have made a decision to do something that quite obviously will never work? … or maybe thought you would really like to get your view across on something important to you happening locally, but have no idea where or how to go about it?

Welcome to QT Local!

Key questions would be debated during the evening by up to 5 people from within the community, i.e. Education, Town Councillors, a local major employer, a Charity or community representative, or a small business owner.

QT Local provides an opportunity for you to have your say…
