Why communities?
Communities are all around us, schools, churches, scouts, football teams, ex work colleagues. We love communities, we are amongst people with whom we share something in common and they create a strong bond and a sense of belonging.
In a community we have self worth and we are valued. We can benefit from our fellow members who share their experience and knowledge with us openly. We also ‘have the right’ as a member to contribute and give to other community participants in whatever way we are able.
Community is important to us and if we think briefly about our own lives we will see just how many communities we belong to. We both give and receive in community, we give our time, energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise to help others and to improve the community, and in return we receive assistance from others, self worth, respect, support, encouragement, social interaction, and the all important sense of belonging.
The local communities that we live and work, will become even more important as fuel costs escalate and technology continues the trend in remote and flexible working arrangements. At the economic heart of any community is business. Link4Growth believes that focussing on bringing together businesses of all types in the local community will lead on to a vibrant and successful business hub and the engagement of the whole community which improves things for everyone
Link4Growth is all about community, giving and receiving, fairness in business, and working together so that we can all lead more rewarding and fruitful lives…
